The JM Crocheted Throw (re-imagined)

This little throw pattern calls for a K hook and worsted weight yarn….but why not use an S hook and SUPER Bulky weight yarn!?

I love love love how this blanket turned out!

The yarn that I used for this blanket is discontinued (I bought it up when it was on clearance). I didn’t take any notes when I was working this up (big fail) so I can’t tell you much other than I started on a foundation chain of 70 and worked 44 rows. You can find the pattern on ETSY or RAVELRY

THIS yarn is the closest yarn, that I could find, to what I used (but it doesn’t come in white).

To make this blanket again and keep it on the cheap, I’m going to purchase 3 or 4 skeins of THIS yarn when it’s on sale and hold the strands together….I’ll keep you posted. I think it will be beautiful….this pattern would probably also make a great scrapghan….I’ll keep you posted haha.

HAPPY CROCHETING!
